One game I'm really getting into recently is DC Universe Online. The combat system is really different--you specialize in a weapon choice that you can combine with your power-set, making for all sorts of fun combat style choices: fire brawling, mental hand blaster, ice rifle, whatever you want! I just love how you can interchange all the weapons with every power set and have it work.
But more specifically is the way that the moves handle. All of the weapon moves you use work like combos: hold left click, for example, will be a melee charge attack. A hold right will be a charged blast, just left/right will be a quick melee/ranged attack. Then take for example right+right+right and you get two normal ranged attacks with a boosted third after it--there are a lot of attacks, tons of combos, and I find it very interesting to learn all of them.
