"You may recall that not long ago, we examined two other bosses in Blackwing Descent, Magmaw and the Omnotron Defense System. If you can handle those two, these bosses are just a tiny step up in difficulty and should be no match for your priestly prowess."
This hasn't been the case for my raid when it comes to Atramedes, mostly because the sound mechanic seems really buggy and ringing a gong doesn't always reset people's sound. Throw in the fact that the range of the "sound discs" is often bigger than their graphic, and it becomes a really frustrating fight even when a raid is performing well. I've only done it on 10 (where it often takes us several tries to get him down even though we got our first kill long ago), but I dread the thought of doing it on 25.

Is there any ability with a visual effect that you want to avoid that isn't bigger than it looks? At least in Cataclysm, my experience says, "No."

It's funny, since I seem to have the opposite impression. Often, the rings seem smaller than their graphic, since I swear I brush them, but get no sound from it. (Not that I don't keep trying to get out of their way, of course.)
