You might remember Brunhila from the amazing Mad World of Warcraft. That video was received incredibly well because of its fun and humor, along with Brunhila's amazing voice. She's now following up with the newly released My Mortality.
This is the lament of an Alliance member seeking to visit a Horde city in order to check out the sights. If you've ever been in that position yourself, you know what happens: Half the Horde faction logs in to kill you. Brunhila's done a great job of summarizing that experience. And the last few seconds are especially appropriate. Poor Silvermoon. Interested in the wide world of machinima? We have new movies every weekday here on WoW Moviewatch! the whole point of it was that she wants to visit a horde city on alliance but all the hordies gank her. they wouldnt do that with a lvl 1 hordie :D this person is in my guild and her vids are awesome!!! She even included me in the credits! Thats me kaimberex! haha nice vid brun I love it hopefully there are more to come!
wow lame and her voice sucks completely see i live in iowa and we know music and hers is by far one of the easiest to identify as taylor swift it just hurt my ears that bad the horrible balance and tone of voice made me mute the volume come on atleast autotune it it would sound just like the bed intruder song
Iowa, where apparently capitalization, punctuation, and even the occasional spacing between words are absent, but the music critics' school of "please more auto-tune" is going strong.
We might take your finely worded and well argued appraisal more seriously if we could compare the work in question to your own creative offerings. Unfortunately, going back over your account's previous comments I find no links to clips of your own, though I did manage to finally find a capital letter and a period by going all the way back to December of last year.
@ Gennifurfur - No slander meant to you or the other fine members of your state. Rest assured that we understand the original poster is not a typical representative of your community. Sadly we all suffer from such in our own back yards. Usually they are best ignored, but sometimes the pleasure in holding up a mirror for them to see themselves is just to tempting to be denied.
I normally don't post comments. I almost always ignore comments such as this one. Seeing this guy's barely coherent ramble with no punctuation would not have caught my eye had he not decided to boast that he was from my home state. For some reason I just had to jump in and say "hey now!"
However, the idea that we Iowans are experts on music did make chuckle.
disliked the voice (not the timbre, though, which is nice, but she does get out of tune a lot), disliked the music (evanescence is just plain awful), but the lyrics were great and the video was well done and made me laugh, specially at the end. :)
I agree with starphaser... I give props to Brunhila's lyrics and storytelling, and it's a good vid overall, but her pitch is shaky in places and the harmony sections are really rather ghastly as a result. Too much melisma (go look it up) -- please leave that for today's R&B wannabes, couldn't ya? On the plus side, it's cool to see a dwarf female in a starring role :) and the Silvermoon ending section was absolutely brilliant. Overall, I respect Brunhila for "going for it" -- because it's easy for me to sit back and criticize someone else's creativity, but it's much harder to create 4+ minutes as she did.

Why doesn't she just make a level 1 orc and run him there? That's what I did. ._.

I'm pretty sure the song was inspired by Evanescence "My Immortal." Great Job Brunhila!

I live in Iowa too. I just wanted to note that we aren't all like this guy here.
Great video. I especially like the very end in Silvermoon. As a hordie myself, I can't remember the last time I was there.

Together we can overcome. :)

No offense was taken.

Arrowsmith Mar 7th 2011 1:38PM
Because it's a Dwarf. Need I go on?
Dreyja Mar 7th 2011 4:59PM
Why would you make anything BUT a Dwarf?
Glaras Mar 7th 2011 1:34PM
Quite the voice! And yes, I've experienced almost the exact same thing visiting Silvermoon.
Dreyja Mar 7th 2011 5:13PM
"HEY Look, there's a dwarf in Silvermoon City! - Get'er! Grrr..." LOL!
StClair Mar 7th 2011 1:40PM
