I meant one more thing other than Arena. Rated BGs are the sole preserve of the (at least semi-) serious PvP player like Arena.

I was disappointed with this because it initially seemed that they were going to be a bridge between regular BGs and Arena; something like the normal > heroic > raid flow you have in PvE. As it turns out, it feels more cut off to 'casual' PvPers than at first sight.
