no offense but regardless of stats on it both ashkandi and zin'rokh are better than akirus just from the fact that they have ~ 200 extra top end damage that outweighs even their horrible stat alottments by far esspecially since reforging is always an option

Some concrete examples of "very bad" advice please? With explanation and figures. One of the reasons why EJ has its reputation for being unfriendly is that it boots out people who do this "You are so stupid, this advice is crap" and then run off without saying why they believe that.

This article is indeed full of bad advice. The BiS lists for all 3 specs are largely different due to the different stats that all of them need. This type of generic "this is your BiS list" that covers all dps specs shows the ineptitude of wow insider these days and largely contributes to the explosion of baddies in the game.

It is really too bad that posts like this and others like it elsewhere (EJ) have driven away one of the death knight's greatest resources almost entirely from the game.

I'll miss Consider.
