I've actually been having issues with Altoholic. I tried to set it up again the other day and it just kept blowing up on me. (Not to mention showing old gold ammounts for my main and not updating anything with new toons.)A simpler addon to use I find is BagSync. When used with Combuctor (and amazing bag addon) it makes it so all you have to do is click your portrait on the bag frame and you get a dropdown of all toons on that server that it has seen. You can then view all their bags from there. It also adds a notation in your tooltips of how much of an item you have in your bags, your bank, your alts, and your guild banks. As both total and individual numbers. If all you want is to know your items BagSync is my recommendation. If you want more though (and don't have issues with it) Altoholic does EVERYTHING you could ever want and probably more.http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/bagsync.aspxhttp://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/combuctor.aspx

IIRC, there was a point where the author changed formats or something(TM). and it caused the new model to blow up if that old data was around.I suggest removing the addon from the addons folder completely (delete it and it's companion, DataStore). Delete the data for it from /WTF/Account//SavedVariables (delete anything Altoholic* or DataStore*). Then re-download and re-install the addon. That ought to solve the blowing up AND the showing of old data. You will have to re-log in to any character to want it to know about, but it should stop blowing up.

I moved from Altoholic to Armory a few months ago. Couldn't be happier with the change.http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/armory.aspx

I give Armory a vote as well.Shows you the character pane for all your chars, with their proffesions on the right. When you mouse-over an item, it tells you how many you have in any of your character's inventory, equiped, mail, auctions, bank, etc. (and guild bank ofcourse)
