Some ideas i somehow had and are now already implemented:
Do not dismount on water
Make all mounts speed based on skill and not on the mount (you can now use old-school mounts without losing speed)
Purchasable boost speed on flying mounts (310%)
Homogenize skills based on char level and not on skill level
BoA items
Enchanting scrolls

NYI (also very common ideas I think):
Account achievements
12 or more chars in the same server (same account of course)
Can unequip main bag (16 slots sux)
Tabard closet

Posibly Never implemented (but good i.m.o):
Make http://www.wowhead.com/item=10040/white-wedding-dress for lvl 1 (Hello bank fashion)
Make use of alt's tradeskill without logout and login repeatedly
Can queue for PvP and PvE (perhaps with some restrictions)
Enchanting scroll to make your helm look like other helm you like more (some restrictions or cooldown may apply)

I have a lot of ideas, but i dont know if someone really reads this, since the post is kinda old
