"For those that didn't know, a pushback effect is caused when you take damage. When you cast a spell, it might take a little longer than normal because you've been hit by an enemy. This causes the casting bar to move back slightly."What you describe is for spells that have "cast time" before the spell goes off. Tranquility and Priest Hymn's are "channeled" (goes off instantly but has an effect that lasts the duration of your cast) Wen channeling, pushback effects actually have the opposite effect of what you describe and make your spell cast quicker (and thus the spell effect lasts a shorter time).

Thanks for the explanation... I was pretty sure making the tranq cast last longer by pushback was not a bad thing at all (more pushback plz).Your explanation is exactly what I needed to know for my resto druid.
