The first raid I ever healed was an OS pug...not too difficult, I was the tank healer while 2 priests were on raid heals. We clear all three drakes, all the trash, and head towards the boss. Everyone buffs up, mana ups, and is ready for the pull, so the MT pulls, and we start the fight. Things are going smoothly, until suddenly one of the priests starts screaming "WTF, Im OOM," and then the other priest does the same...so I am left healing everything, people standing in flame walls, adds going nuts, and I forget to refresh beacon on the MT, and he dies, raid wipes. After the wipe, raid leader starts asking what happened, how did we fail, etc. Some DPS posted healing meters....with just two people on it, only one was a priest. Turns out the first priest to go OOM had messed up his healbot bindings...and had been casting Mass Dispel, PoH, and PW:F like crazy, and no one noticed the animation....
One of my first times in a raid, I was tanking it on my blood DK who was 79, in a guild run with a lvl 71 enh shaman and a lvl 70 boomkin doing the healing for kara. I wasn't totally aware of how seriously hard the raid would be....and then the boomkin posted healing meters and I had been doing a full 3rd of the total healing....
Last one:
Uld 10 man hard modes, I wanted to gear at the time, so i joined my friends PuG on my mage....they had already downed FL, and were on XT. When I joined the raid I had high hopes, until out first try in XT, we killed the heart...and then promptly wiped. Second attempt, we killed the heart...and then promptly wiped again. So I start asking whats going on, are we missing something...and the raid leader says THE healer is having mana problems....So I check the raid, apart from our prot pally OT, the ONLY other person there who can heal was the holy priest...(pally OT, DK MT, mage(me), warlock, 2 DKs, 1 rogue, 1 hunter and a warr)

Ok, couldn't resist...especially since this happened to me an hour ago...
Ok, raid leader calls for heroism to be popped, but forgets to look at the debuff of the LAST time it was popped still on half the raid for about 30sec....and I mash the hero button, blowing the CD for zero effect on half of us. Wipe then ensues on boss....first time was Hodir I think...tonight was running a guildie thru kara .... had poped it on netherspite for quick kill...then tried to pop again on the shade.....couldn't figure out why nothing happened..
And another one:
A priest friend of mine was queued up for heroics as a DPS, I invited her to my mag's lair raid as heals, but she missed that message....we had already cleared the trash, just boss left. So we all got ready, with only me and 2 lvl 70 healers in quest gear healing(priest friend still in DPS spec), the pull starts, bosses health starts going down, but the damage everyone is taking is too much for us to keep up with, and one of the lvl 70 healers dies...and then the other....and we barely manage to down the boss with 4 out of 8 ppl left....my priest friend then asks if it would have been better had she been in holy....
This one is FUNNY:
As a joke, my GM suggested wo go raiding naked, or in clown suits(what I did, lunar robe plus a bunch of cool looking green armor I had), low level content, its put to a vote, between kara, ZG, AQ 20 and MC....MC is the lucky choice, so we all run in there, get ready to go and everything...charge first boss, and die. Everyone is asks what happened, why did we all die, no one knows, so we try again....and suddenly I notice that no one is healing....I take a look at all the people we brought: Me on my lock, a rogue, 2 mages, a hunter and a DK. No one could heal enough to keep us alive while naked or in clown suits...funniest MC zerg run ever tho, once we got a healer to come along.
