It's the weekend! No bonus question this week, but I wanted to take a moment to welcome Matt Walsh (also known as Rhidach) to the team as our new protection paladin columnist. Yes, another Matt.
Adam Holisky (@AdamHolisky) I'm going to work on my loremaster a bit more and might start leveling up another toon from 80 to 85, maybe my mage or hunter. I'll also be thinking of new Queue topics that leave Alex and Sacco with no questions to answer the next day.
Alex Ziebart (@AlexZiebart) When I'm not raiding on WoW, I'll be playing more Dragon Age 2. I did not expect that game to be as good as it is, considering how much I hated Dragon Age: Origins, but it really is a lot of fun and I'm glad I made the purchase.
Anne Stickney (@Shadesogrey) This weekend, I gotta bake a cake for my sister's birthday and write something appropriately festive like "YOU'RE OLD!!! HAHAHA!" on it. I have family visiting this weekend, so I'll be trying to write in between being mobbed by nephews.
Basil Berntsen (@outdps) I'mma get my PVP on.
Daniel Whitcomb (@danielwhitcomb) I will be playing more of my snarky, streetwise archer rogue Hawke on Dragon Age 2. It's been a busy week, so I haven't even had time to make it past the first time skip so far. I'm hoping to remedy that and then some this weekend.
Elizabeth Wachowski (@leeatwaterlives) Still pushing my shaman and druid to 85. If we have time at night, I'll probably play Dead Space 2 or Alan Wake -- for some reason, my fiancé likes to fall asleep to me being attacked by shadow monsters and necromorphs. Apparently, it's "relaxing."
Fox Van Allen (@foxvanallen) It's PAX East weekend! I'm living it up with the PAX East WoW Insider contingent: Sacco and McCurley. In between panels and podcasts, I'll be playing Radiant Historia on my DS. If you do not have this game, you should stop whatever you are doing right now and get the game. Seriously. It's like Quantum Leap meets Chrono Trigger meets Fringe.
Joe Perez (@Lodurzj) PAX PAX PAX PAX PAX PAX! Not only am I attending my first PAX this year, I am also a part of the event! Sunday, March 13 at 12:30pm @raidwarning and I will be doing a live show/panel in the manticore room. If you're going to PAX, you should swing by and say hello! There will be prizes, and we do have quite a few guests lined up. Hope to see you there!
Josh Myers (@Elamqt) I'll be self-reflecting on whatever super-creative part of my brain made me think the Twitter handle "Elam qt" was a smart choice. Also, my unholy death knight just hit 85 on Sunday and is already 2/3 of the way to his arena weapon. I'll also be spending the weekend wondering how not one of the WoW Insider staff has answered the secret question yet.
Kelly Aarons (@Cadistra) Drawing, working, and fishing. For some reason, I'm getting my fish on in WoW. Also, my copy of Okamiden is in, so yaaaaay!

This has been a bad week. Otherwise, I shall be spending some time chasing rares in archaeology or pootling around on a lowbie RIFT alt.
Tyler Caraway (@murmursofadruid) Catching up on sleep! Finally. Then working on powerleveling several toons for helping the guild reach Classy.

Whoo, Dragon Age 2! Just finished my first playthrough last night.
I'm a bit sad to see all the reviews comparing it negatively to the first game; while I did enjoy the first game, I like the second one a lot better, especially in terms of plot and writing, which are what matter to me the most, anyway. I hope this doesn't mean Bioware regresses completely when it comes time for the next game -- fewer bugs would be nice, and I do hate having this huge closet of armor that none of my companions can share, but the friendship/rivalry system in place of approval/disapproval and all the added party banter? DO WANT.
Neither of the DAs are Planescape: Torment (still the best-written video game I've played, hands down), but the main plot of this one at least felt less fate-of-the-world-is-on-your-shoulders, only-YOU-can-defeat-the-great-evil cliched. Companion conversations that prompt cutscenes are fewer and less in-depth, but they talk so much about the environment and to each other when I'm running around with them that I don't feel their characters are any less fleshed-out.
Bah, just grumpy after reading all the negative forum posts; obviously it's not everyone's cup of tea, but I do not feel that it is objectively worse as a game.

For some reason all the tvs in the house are dying at the same time. Thoroughly angry now, that only leaves me with my PC. I'm bored of PC games. XP
Well, I never did finish Torchlight (started to see why people who didn't like it called it repetitive as hell).

Having dinner with a friend before he ships off to Air Force boot camp and classroom training for the next several months.
If I can't get my wife to finally roll a character and play WoW with me (been bugging her about it for 2 years now) then I'll probably keep working on getting my BElf Warrior into Outland. YEAH, YOU HEARD ME!! BLOOD ELF WARRIOR!! DEAL WITH IT!!

I love my belf warrior! Not only does he rock, but he looks damn good doing it!
It amused me how often people would exclaim "Oh! I thot u wuz a pally lol!" halfway through five-mans while leveling up.

I race changed my tauren warrior to a male blood elf and I've been loving it!
I play prot - the arcane torrent racial is AWESOME as an AoE silence for a tank. The model animation is fluid and armor looks good (I'm looking at you helms!). The toon is normal sized so moving around doesn't feel like I'm running at half speed, and charge looks good too.
IMO, the best looking prot warriors are female orcs and male blood elves.
Try it, its a hoot!

It's good to hear good things about DA2. I'm a BioWare fan since way back in the days of Baldur's Gate, and DA:O just didn't hold my interest. Or rather, the game's plot didn't; I spent most of my time talking to my companions because I liked learning about them more than saving the world. ^_^ I'll probably check it out sometime in the future, when it's cheaper, so I'm out less money if I don't like it.
Also: thanks, Mr. Van Allen; Radiant Historia sounds like a combination of good things. Now I wish I had a DS. :P

[DRAGON AGE 2 SPOILERS]
I just saved Kirkwall and became champion of Kirkwall but... what a dump! A hive of scum and villainy if there ever was one. The Arishok was right, IMO; the place needed cleansing and he was the only one willing to do anything about it. I wish I could have had the choice to help him do that.
Perhaps they will include it in a DLC like they did with The Darkspawn Chronicles in DA:O. I enjoyed being supremely evil for a while ;)

Just finished attending an MUN conference yesterday, so now I'm gonna be regenerating for a couple of days. Hangover is terrible. Gin-tonic is awesome. Polish people can swallow more alcohol than I ever could...
And OMG I need to get my fix of DAII!!!

Working hard to make my guilds 10 to 25 man transition work well. Our first week of 25s we 2 shot Cho'gall and well be working on Al Akir and Nef tonight. Even though most of us are 4/13 for hardmodes in 10s, were waiting until next week to start them on 25s.
I'm also slowly grinding my 76 goblin hunter through the hellhole that is Wrath leveling.
And I'm arguing with coworkers that Rift will never EVER be balanced for end game PvE.
