The Queue: Sad clown snowman otter

PAX East has proven a prime hunting ground for preternaturally large sad clown snowman otters (or if you play D&D, "dire sad clown snowman otters"). You can see me above, attempting to blend into the sad clown snowman otter herd in order to better know my enemy. Pick Tepig, you nerds! Criminy, you could even pick Snivy over this guy! Look at this sad clown snowman otter! He's so stupid!
Kurtzilla asked:
First off, I have been doing RAF with a friend, and we are now level 52. When does that cap now? Was it ever updated?
Secondly, last night we ran DM: Gordok Commons. As we got to the final boss, I noted that part of the encounter was Cho'Rush the Observer. As far as I know, there are only two other Cho'Something ogres, Cho'War the Pillager, in Nagrand, as well as Cho'Gall. Does the Cho' part of Cho'Something mean anything?
1. Recruit-a-Friend benefits run out at 90 days or level 60, whichever comes first.
2. Cho is like the John of ogre names.
Darasen asked:
A worgen, it seems, is supposed to be a human until infected or what ever with the Worgen disease/curse (whatever). Thus my question is if there is a lore reason that a Gilnean can be a druid but humans from anywhere else can not be? I understand the game mechanics reason perhaps it is just that.
I'm sure that with proper training, a human could be just about anything. Same with orcs. But Gilneans have a foreleg up on other humans because they've been living around druidic energy and rituals for a long time. There's even reason to believe Gilneans have a little night elf blood in them. Whether due to the curse or just training, though, it doesn't appear that any Gilnean druids were capable of shapeshifting prior to meeting the night elves after the Cataclysm.
Stephaniepaul7 asked:
Have PvP titles come back in the game?? I was in AV last night an was running around with a few Sergeants. If they have returned how would we manage to get these titles??
Yes, they're attainable through rated battlegrounds.
Beliam asked:
Why does my screen start flickering when I browse Wow Insider? It doesn't happen on any other website.
This could be the fault of a Flash ad, as I know it's happened to me before. If you have the problem again, send us an email with the name of the ad in question and we'll check it out.

Either you are sad because the dire sad clown snowman otter is sad, or you're sad that his hairstyle is infinitely cooler than yours.
We just don't know.
/burn ;)
niko Mar 13th 2011 12:10PM
btw i'm only joking, i used to have epicly long hair 10 years ago.
crap, i think i burned him again by accident.
MusedMoose Mar 13th 2011 1:42PM
Hey, once you cut your hair off, you don't get to make fun of those who still have their long hair. :P And while I do have long hair, I'm not going to make fun of Mr. Sacco, in the name of solidarity.
...though now I wonder whose hair is more epic, Mr. Sacco's or mine. Hrm.
MrJackSauce Mar 13th 2011 5:33PM
Get dreads and then come back and talk about epic hair.

So, what you're saying is that John Cho is the most generic ogre possible?
michael.separovich Mar 13th 2011 12:58PM
yes. and if you kill him he becomes john doe cho bro
Dril Mar 13th 2011 1:23PM
I believe Cho'John (Smith) is actually *the* most generic AND lore-accurate name possible.
Scott Clark Mar 13th 2011 5:29PM
Cho is the equivalent of John, but the ogres don't use John itself. So, in fact, Cho'John would be a wildly exotic name for an ogre, and the ladies? They would be all up ons.
Nathanyel Mar 13th 2011 9:43PM
In Ogres names, Apostrophes are exclusive to two-headed ones and connect/limit the names of the individual heads. So Gall (or Rush) would not be some kind of last name, but merely the name of the other head.
For Cho'gall, Cho is the one with the Mongol beard who speaks normally, while Gall is the one with the beak who rambles insanely.

BUT HE'S THE WATER POKEMON! >:(
You will rue this day Sacco. RUE IT!
Just like I'm sure you rue the day you insulted Captain America.
Scott Mar 13th 2011 12:26PM
Or he could Rue McClanahan...
WaterRouge Mar 13th 2011 12:27PM
Start ruing.

Long live Emperor Snivy!
Nipah Mar 13th 2011 7:56PM
Pfft water pokemon.
You wanna know where I got my water pokemon? I fished it up like everyone else!
No one picks the water one right off the bat (well, except for stupid Blue/Gary, but screw him), because you know they're not just going to have fire types wandering around the forests, pissing Smokey off to no end.
Brodi Mar 14th 2011 9:10AM
You gotta look ahead. Oshawott may be sad clown otter, but Samurott is hardcore. Tepig, though, is lame, and Emboar is abysmally stupid looking.
Do not mess with Smugleaf. He will destroy you. With class.
Kal Mar 13th 2011 12:15PM
But... He turns into a samurai otter-thing, how can I not pick him based on that alone?!
MikeLive Mar 13th 2011 12:23PM
I did!
Moosepie Mar 13th 2011 1:22PM
And then for some stupid reason into a for legged horse thing with a shell head with flowing stupid facial hair and dolphin tail? This is the first time my starter has not been a part of my team, lol. Replaced him with Seismatoad. Water/Ground and covered in tumors! frick yeah!
