Blizzard answers your questions in Ask the Devs Q&A

Questions this time out ranged from PvP/PvE balance issues to death knight mastery runeforges to why moonkin don't have Execute. I personally found the discussions on Outland quest flow and why Blizzard doesn't just separate PvP and PvE spells to be pretty interesting. Take a look and pose your own questions if you don't see what you wanted answered this time out.

I just want to ask if there are any plans to stop plate-wearing females' breasts from bouncing. I'm not trying to be funny. This adolescent need for bouncy boobs is the reason most of my characters are male, despite my being female.

See my earlier comment about the need for a breast slider.

I know they need to make it manageable, but the problem is there's a small window of opportunity which I wasn't aware of well in advance.

I think the real reason for DK hate was that everybody tried them at the same time, so you had loads of them. And nobody really knew how to play a DK yet. So the overwhelming impression for people was a horde of, for want of a better term, newbs.
The situation is a lot better now, although you might still get the odd comment from a warrior or paladin who's feeling threatened by another plate melee/tank.

Have you used the WoW in-game chat? I'd rather stab myself in the hand with a power drill.
(This will amuse people both people who follow me on Twitter.)
Seriously though, the in-game voice chat was put in to silence the complaints that there was no support for it. They cobbled together a rudimentary system for it, and to my knowledge, haven't touched it since. The sound quality is terrible, and impossible to adjust on a per-person basis.
Way back in Burning Crusade, we were like:
"Yay, voice chat!"
*check enable*
"Oh man, this sucks..."
"I hear ya."
*uncheck enable*

At least they're looking to cut down the randomness of Archaeology some. Being able to specialize in a specific race, so those dig sites are generated more often than others, would make the whole process much less painful.
DayDreamer Mar 15th 2011 1:46PM
Yes. I just decided to stop archaeology before I read this. It's just getting ridiculous. The randomness is just too strong. It'll be nice when a master archaeologist will actually have some skill rather than just be able to look at "higher level" races.
It'll be interesting to see if the epic weapons are going to be as difficult to obtain under the new system.
