The Daily Quest: Out with the old, in with the new

WoW Insider's on a Daily Quest to bring you interesting, informative and entertaining WoW-related links from around the blogosphere.
Hillsbrad Foothills has to be one of the most disgusting, terrifying zones in the game, in regards to what the Forsaken have been up to and the ultimate fate of Southshore. On the other hand, the horrifying situations are balanced by some of the wackiest characters, zany situations and seriously fun quest lines I have played. It's so weird that a zone with so much in it that I hate can still be something I love; I recommend everyone play through it.
Among the quests in Hillsbrad are a few involving characters you feed quests to -- including the hapless new guy, pictured above -- which leads us to today's blog posts. All of them feature a little information on new things, whether it be players, servers, or information from the 4.1 PTR.
Is there a story out there we ought to link or a blog we should be following? Just leave us a comment, and you may see it here tomorrow! Be sure to check out our WoW Resources Guide for more WoW-related sites.

I always hear so much praise for the new Hillsbrad. Is there any alliance zone that had as good of a reworking?

Redridge is worth doing, even if it's just a Rambo knock-off. You might get a kick out of doing Duskwood, too.

Fucking Forsaken.
Southshore will be avenged, one stinking zombie at a time.

As will Taurajo....

@boven
The difference being that the Alliance wrongly believed that Taurajo was a training camp, while the forsaken fully knew Southshore was a mostly a civilian area with a small garrison.

Disgusting and terrifying or freaking awesome? It's about time those filthy hair-lipped humans got what was coming to 'em. Death to the Scourge and death to the living!

While I may not agree with what the Forsaken are doing from an overall point of view, it doesn't stop the questlines from being incredibly awesome. From Tirisfal through Silverpine and into Hillsbrad, it's just all incredibly great.

Hillsbrad was definitely my favorite questing area, from a lore and character standpoint.
The best part to me was the entire interaction with the captains and generals of Alterac Valley. The cameos by Captain Balinda Stonehearth and Vanndar Stormpike were well-done and absolutely amazing in my mind. And the interaction with Galvangar and Drek'Thar, especially Drek'Thar, really gave me a sense of pride and honor, especially in an area where there is such little honor to be had with all the Forsaken shenanigans.
Plus, a shout out to the movie Weird Science. Seriously, Blizzard is just freaking amazing sometimes with the little things like that.
