I recently started running a little experiment on my DK after looking at some of the top tier guilds and their DK tanks. I have basically dropped hit as a stat priority and focused more on parry/dodge and stam. So far I haven't experienced any threat issues at all, and barely notice the difference. I see more parries and dodges from bosses then I do misses.Anyone else been looking at this?

Your only concern with hit should be if you are on interrupt duty. If you are doing 10-mans or 5-mans, you may want to prioritize hit, as mind freeze is a very powerful interrupt Being able to rely on your mind freeze can save you a considerable amount of damage (or wipes) if your raid composition is lackluster on reliable interrupt classes.Personally, I have to have my hit capped as a tank, as I am one of the three in our 10-man group that interrupts the casters in Nefarian's second phase. As a tank nowadays, most of your threat will come from simply getting hit (vengeance). If you miss a bit while you are tanking, it is generally not a major concern, threat-wise. Most of those top-end guilds are likely running 25-mans, so they have plenty of DPS classes that can be on interrupt duty. Also, they are doing bleeding-edge content, so they will want maximum survivability stats, among which hit is not.
