Actually, I personally thought this was like opening WWI with nuclear weapons as a retaliation for Pearl Harbor, despite the fact that a.) Pearl Harbor didn't happen yet, and b.)nuclear weapons didn't exist. I think the only reliable response to this is abject weeping, sobbing, and begging for mercy, like having the entire planet fall into the sun. If we're lucky.
