Not many, because the sacrifices in Northrend are mentioned in some of the quest lines. If you read The Shattering, which has been blessed as canon by Chris Metzen, it occurs pretty much right after everyone returns. There is a scene in the book of a memorial service for those who died in the battle with the Lich King.
