WoW Insider's Weekly Webcomic: Safe Passage
Welcome to another edition of WoW Insider's Weekly Comic, Safe Passage. This comic takes place post-Cataclysm, so there will be minor spoilers. I suppose I don't need to say there are spoilers anymore, considering it's been several months since the release of Cataclysm. Oh, well.
Things might not be as bad as they seem. Kill on sight versus incarceration is a no-brainer, right? Right?
In any case, Brynne and Lisaara have a few tricks that might come in handy ...

Our papa?
They are sisters?
Malozing Mar 15th 2011 9:09AM
Adopted maybe?
Accipeter Mar 15th 2011 9:29AM
Yeah, I figured one (or maybe both) of them were clearly adopted when I read that.
quasarsglow Mar 15th 2011 10:00AM
Ah, good point.
Khoonda Mar 15th 2011 3:43PM
well I know I'd adopt them in a heartbeat their cuteness is deadly :P
Drakkenfyre Mar 15th 2011 6:45PM
I sense another adoption coming along.
If no one survived the caravan.
Malozing Mar 15th 2011 9:08AM
Ummm. Ouch. How is the elf gonna explain that Dad's most likely dead to the kids? I mean that is gonna be awkward.
Great comic as always though.
Brutal Man Mar 15th 2011 10:05AM
Disneyland is always the answer.

Ever thought of posting this twice a week? Would only need to change the link to the 'Biweekly comic'.
Amaxe Mar 15th 2011 12:03PM
Interesting. I was about to say "biweekly = every other week" but looking it up, I found out it can mean either every other week OR twice a week.
You learn something new every day
Tokkar Mar 15th 2011 6:21PM
@Amaxe - that's only because people kept using it incorrectly - sort of like how "whom" has all but disappeared from the English language, and how Bill Gates has taught the entire world that the correct spelling is "canceled" - ugh.
Incidentally, for the rest of you out there, the correct term should be "semi-weekly", but who is instructing whom here? Eh, my thoughts were just cancelled out by the cuteness factor. :-)
Amaxe Mar 15th 2011 9:48PM
Yeah. I was going to bring up the semi-weekly thing, but when you see that biweekly uses both in some dictionaries, I figured "whats the point?"
Common use seems to trump all.

This is a nice touch here. It's a pity it was already established who destroyed the caravan, as it would have been a moving and tragic way to explore the children having to distinguish between "Mr. Orc" and the Horde who destroyed the caravan. Too late now of course.
Looking forward to see where you are going with this.

Wasn't it the quilboar?
Angus Mar 15th 2011 6:17PM
Yes, but it allows for the possibility of a joint rescue attempt. The quillboar may be holding snacks in reserve.
That said, I hope the dad is a Space Goat because th adopted child would be the human and that would be unusual.
Amaxe Mar 15th 2011 9:45PM
Yes it was the quillboar. Thats why I said it was a pity the cause was already known. Sorry if that wasn't clear.
I think Angus has a good idea though. What if the Nelf broke them out with the purpose of rescuing the children's father?
That would make a great twist.
Tirrimas Mar 15th 2011 12:04PM
Damn. Poor kidlets. :(
Jormund Fenris Mar 15th 2011 12:47PM
I almost wrote "DUN DUN DUN" and nothing more.
But i was too sad. :(
