I'm not sure about the whole guild rep question. I know that if you get booted from your guild and you rejoin you don't loose any of your rep, I think it gives you the option to keep it or clear it, but not if you join a completely different guild. In our guild some people get booted out just for a laugh, its been going on for years and we had done this early on in the xpac and forgot about the whole rep thing but blizz made it so that you have the option to keep the rep you already gained with your guild. I would imagine that if you leave and come back (without joining another guild) that it would still be there. So sorry holisky, you are right about joining a new guild will start you at zero but if you leave your current guild (or get booted) and come back (again without joining a new guild) then you should still have the rep you had when you left.

"If a person leaves a guild will they start at 0 rep when joining _another_ guild?"

"so even if you rejoin, you'll have to start over at zero rep."
