RavenSylph threw this video together in a day, according to her own notes about Magical World. The video has a lot of amazing views and scenes, highlighting the amazing Gilnean architecture and fantastic worgen models.
I hadn't heard of Bassnectar, the band responsible for the music, but I rather dug the song. It works very well with the video, and RavenSylph did a great job coordinating the imagery with the lyrics. I could have used a tiny bit more story in the video, but I think that's just personal preference. Interested in the wide world of machinima? We have new movies every weekday here on WoW Moviewatch! What a lovely homage to the lovely but abandoned zone of Gilneas. Ugh, I'm even more bitter about the Worgen story line after this lovely peice. ;)
I'm not usually a fan of remixes but this one is kind of haunting in a way that is a perfect fit for the feel of the video.
Really though the camera work and coordination are really well done in this video. It gave me just the kick I need to finish leveling my puppy-druid. XD
Worgen models, fantastic?! Ah, well, as the old adage goes: beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
The video was pretty good, worgen aside, especially considering it's apparently been made in a day. I know nothing about the length of time it takes to generally create a decent machinima, but I would've guessed at a few hours at the least. So great job!
I'm sat on the fence when it comes to the metal. I'm definitely preferring it over the trash we've been hearing in the past few days, but of course, my taste is mostly in power/symphonic metal, and classical. But I think this may grow on me.
I do love the video. The tone of it makes me recall the starting zone with fondness. I do hope there is going to be a Worgen event where the Alliance helps them take back their homeland. It's such a beautiful zone.
That aside, I'm surprised there hasn't been an "Oh, Chihuahua" machinima featuring female Worgen. I'm not poking fun, I'm genuinely surprised.
Haha, I was actually out at a club 'till 3am (on a weekday!) just last night listening to Bassnectar play as part of his current Australian tour. Fantastic night. Always been a fan of the music but it's something completely different and even more amazing live. Nothing online truly does it justice; certainly a step well above the overdone, mass-produced dubstep that is flooding the air these days.
Oh yeah, umm... WoW and the video and such... this makes me want to make a Worgen, :).

'I'm sat on the fence when it comes to the metal.' --> 'I'm sat on the fence when it comes to the MUSIC.'
Why oh why do I always use the word I'm thinking of instead of the one I intend to use...

It's not metal. It's dubstep.

Oops.. Sorry, I missed your second comment.

Bassnectar is an incredible dubstep artist.

Is it just me, or does the section before the vocals begin seem very Baron Soosdon-ish? Great job, and I think I have a new artist to go listen to...

I guess Bassnectar doesn't like being linked from WoW Insider.
