Be aware that some peer opinions have more weight than others. For example, your workplace coworkers and bosses may have negative opinions about gaming in general. A boss who equates gaming with morons and slackers may be prejudiced against your next promotion if they know you are a gamer.
At 15, this shouldn't be an issue, but for older players it could be a serious reason to play on the down low.
