One person in school said something that would forever alter my perception on the issue at one point. It went along the lines of this:"Sure, he's a nerd now, but twenty years from now, that dude's gonna own your job."It was just a joke, but I found it hilarious. It gave me confidence in what I was, and since then I've been fairly proud of my hobby. Because at the end of the day that's all it is: it's something to kill time, to break the boredom, and a way to get together with people.Someone also told me something similar:Warcraft is a lot like bowling, yet no one really seems to knock on that as much because it's just the social norm. And the reason that is, is because a lot of people let them.Truth.
