If your friends are really, truly your friends, they will not care if you do something they think is "uncool." They will still be your friends, though they may give you a gentle ribbing about it from time to time. This is because they will like you for who you are. If they're really, *really* good friends, they'll even try it to see what you find so interesting, but that might be asking a little much of so-called 'normal people.' ;-)

In short, if somebody stops being your friend because of something stupid like you like to play WoW, they are stupid and you're lucky to be rid of them.

'Fraid the topic isn't friends here, bro. It's school peers, a group that you can't influence, can't get rid of, can't ignore and cannot tell to leave you alone - they are not necessarily your friends.
