It would be nice to have something other than the sparkle pony for my alts to ride. When I start a new toon, the sparkle pony (while being very handy since it saves gold and time spent finding the mount seller) bothers me. I switch to a normal mount when I get the gold and happen by the mount seller.

The sparkle pony (while ragged on a lot) is a very interesting design and just seems odd for low lvl 20s to be riding around on it. I don't mean it should be a "special snowflake" type mount just that it reminds me of Ulduar and Agalon...something a higher level should be riding like 70 or 80. It just feels out of place for my lvl 20 alts.

I don't think I'd have the same association with this lion mount. I like that there will be another option for my lowbie.

Although the sparkle pony already cause me some bag space problems on my new alt and a second mount will make the situation worse. I hope down the line they make the mount "learnable" but unride-able until the right level to space bag space.
