I think it comes down to the content just isn't that good. The smaller simpler dungeon\raid sizes are not cutting it. Story elements are missing; unless you read the books you have no clue who cho'gal is, no in game animation clips in raids, raids are not really visually appealing (Conclave is a little, but it's so small) and this smaller tunnel like dungeon structure so people don't get lost, just leaves a lacking in the "real factor"
LFD is still killing the commundity, it is a useful tool, but it doesn't promote postive player interaction, needs the option to que from server only. Player rep has to be the most important thing, society correcting society. If you can't play nice, people simplely won't play with ya.
No appearance tab.... still..... really...
Graphics are far behind industry standard, Wow can't even make a realistic tree (which aren't effected by graphics...)
What is the Blizz development staff really doing? patch 4.1 two revised raids.... revising is fine, on top on new content though. 4.2 a single raid, with a boss from Vanilla. With the claim of 12 million subscribers, making massive amounts every month, they can't hire more staff, and invest more in development.
Lazy and cheap.
Playing Rift till Guildwars 2 comes out.
