Breakfast Topic: Which Cataclysm heroic do you dread seeing on your loading screen?

Since every instance in Cataclysm has its own load screen, players know where they are going before they ever set foot in the instance. Some instances are harder than others. Some have awful trash. Some have boss fights that require lots of moving, and some have tons of ambient group damage. Depending on your role, which instance you want to see come up as your random probably changes. Some have that one piece of gear you need or that achievement you really would love to get; others make you feel disheartened as soon as the loading screen pops up.
I currently have two 85s; my main is a tank, and my alt is a hunter. While tanking anything but Stonecore, I am fairly happy. I hate the initial few pulls in Stonecore with Milhouse Manastorm and those damn guys that turn into rock elementals and have that disgusting AoE so much, and the trash pulls with the sentries later on also suck. My tank just runs the one heroic a day for the points so I can get my last piece of tier for feral and start picking up some of the moonkin off-spec pieces, so if I get Vortex Pinnacle every day and just blow through it, all the better.
On the other hand, with my hunter, every time I see The Deadmines I am actually happy. I still need the axe and bracers. Also, my hunter hasn't been 85 very long, so justice points are still useful to me.
What heroics do you hate to see pop up? What makes you hate this particular instance? Which are you actually happy to see?

I generally don't mind Grim Batol and I think I've completed it more times than not in PuGs as both the tank and the healer. The thing I find funny about it being so hated and considered so difficult is that the fights really aren't all that special from a tank or healer perspective. It's the dps that can fail horrible and make the fights hard or impossible.
1st boss- Handling the trog and avoiding the blitz. All about the dps being awake and doing their job.
2nd boss- Easiest boss imo but still most difficult part of the fight is the dps not standing in things and watching their aggro (especially when he picks mace first).
3rd boss- Nothing special for the tank. All about the dps killing the adds and avoiding the breath.
4th boss- Nothing special for the tank. Once again, all about the dps killing the adds.

GB defo, I'm all up for difficulty but this...it's just not Puggable, furthest I've ever gotten is the second boss in a PuG (Guild runs are alright).

I hate healing GB, but my only 333 is my disc wand, and GB's 2nd boss has the only 346 healer wand that I know of.

GB is easy. The only one I've had any type of problem in has been Blackrock Caverns. Someone ALWAYS either gets transformed or lets one of the mobs transform and if I'm not tanking we wipe. I say that cuz in my sucessful groups, the only time we dont wipe if one transforms is if I grab it, pop some CD's and we burn the shit out of it and thats only guild groups.

Deadmines.
There are some dungeons that are just as long as this one, but DM just feels so long and tedious. Maybe it's because the fights are fairly complex and therefore can lead to a lot of wipes when you're in a PUG.
Either way, I always give a /groan when I see that load screen (it is a cool picture, though).
VSUReaper Mar 22nd 2011 9:18AM
What Dan said - it seems so long, but only because the fights require to do something more than just stand there.
It also doesnt help the fact that people dont understand how to use the reaper on the 2 or 3rd boss to OT the elementals at the bottom of the ramp.
I hate SFK b/c of all the times I got it before they nerfed/appropriately tuned the first boss and Deadmines for that reason above. Most the others are a "meh - lets just bust through this and go home".

My big problem with Deadmines and SFK is that there are long stretches of each with low ceilings which causes all kinds of camera headaches.
After vanilla, Bliz realized that having to struggle with the camera to get a view of the mobs you're attacking while you're in a low ceilinged room is the opposite of fun. For more recent dungeons, even if they take place in-doors they have high ceilings.
In particular, as hunter, I really struggle in parts of Deadmines and SFK to get a good view of mobs so that I can throw my trap on them.

Deadmines is ridiculously annoying as a Tauren. The instance wouldn't be too bad except for the whole VanCleef event is just so annoying after doing it so many times.
I'd rather sit and listen to both Arthas AND Saurfang do their speeches for 14 minutes than run through VanCleef's nightmare.

I hate tanking the elementals in VP for the reason. Not because there is anything particularly difficult about them, but because I can never get my camera to easily see their nameplates. And using TidyPlates, I am used to looking at them for threat management.
Though I would much rather get VP as my daily heroic than any of these other buggers.

Deadmines. is. so. freaking. long.
The gazillion bosses and mini-bosses, the tunnels, the fact that you basically have to run through the whole thing again in the Nightmare...
I mean I like the design and the idea of it, but when you just wanna get your daily over with its a serious pain-in-the-rear.
Tori Mar 23rd 2011 2:38AM
It's definitely the Vanessa fight that really adds to the lengthy feel. Having to go through the whole dungeon again during the Nightmare gauntlet, even though it's much faster, just gives this horrible tedium.

Those rock elemental guys at the beginning of Stonecore can be interrupted, so they never turn into such pains. When everyone is fighting Milhouse, have someone with interrupting ability take on a rock ele (or do it yourself if that's not feasible)
Stonecore is one of my favourites, along with Grim Batol. Deadmines is really the only one I don't like seeing, since it's sooooooooo slowwwwwwwwww
rich.krzem Mar 22nd 2011 8:06AM
Grim Batol. It isn't hard anymore, but if I have to pug it on an alt, I dread it. Just so much trash if the dragon ride goes bad.
Trippy Mar 22nd 2011 8:06AM
Deadmines!
Need I say more?
lucifer.cross Mar 22nd 2011 8:06AM
Grim Batol. Soooo many fail PuGs, even with a full guild group, I still groan when I get it. Gah. That, and Throne of the Tides. That place just murders my FPS.
UncausedRyan Mar 22nd 2011 8:06AM
Halls of Origination. that dreaded place with all its bosses...
Nina Katarina Mar 22nd 2011 9:20AM
What is this "all its bosses"? I only see three...
Eirik Mar 22nd 2011 12:56PM
I must be doing it wrong, then. I don't see less than 4:
Levers-dude.
Marrowgar-of-Fire
Troggslayer
Ra ra R.A.H.
Which of these don't I need to hit?
Randomrestodruid Mar 22nd 2011 1:49PM
You don't need to kill Lord Magmagar.
Bended Mar 22nd 2011 8:06AM
HoO. I don't mind the rest.
Then again I just heal.
