HA! This is good news because everyone who pvp's knows that frost mages are totally not overpowered and the most pvp-utility-lacking spec in the game!...anyone catch the sarcasm there? Let me be more clear: This is stupid.

I PvP as a Frost Mage. Here's what I have to say about this change:AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA*snort**snerk*BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA *choke**cough**sputter* heh.Seriously, we did not need buffed.

PVE Frost is quite a bit different from PVP frost. In PVP Frost is a powerhouse, in PVE, Frost is like the gentle caress of a summer breeze. It's pretty much just above Subtlety Rogues, who curiously did not get buffed at all.

You're dumb. Obviously anyone that says Mage is overpowered hasn't seen a mage in high-end arena. They aren't going to gear the class for people that suck horribly which is the only people that cry about them being overpowered. Get better before saying a class is overpowered just because they have such good control.

The PvP Q&A got the problem of frost mage balance spot on. Here's the key bit:" At the high end of PvP, we think Frost mages are balanced. It’s everything below that where they can be frustrating to handle. We need to figure out ways to affect the latter without affecting the former."Once you start playing teams with a competent healer, mages get balanced out very quickly. Right around the start of competitive PvP (2k or so) it starts to become much more difficult and at high levels even Vileroze has commented that frost is not in a good place. This is an attempt to try to balance that out at the top levels. At the lower levels, people simply aren't dispelling and that's why people are getting beat. It doesn't matter if IL hits for 10k or 12.5k if your healer doesn't know what they are doing.

Can't dispel if in a polymorph, counterspelled, impact stunned, or deep frozen.

I think these are the damage buffs that was mentioned in the recent PvP Dev Q&A to encourage more casting in PvP. Now we'll have to see what kind of control nerf the developers have in mind for frost mages.

I think the mage buffs will be part of an April Fools prank by GC. Um, right? Right? OMG, right?

Frost is not "fine" it's not "bad" it's not any of these things you keep saying.Frost is "different". Mages and hunters are both in such a different place, that these sorts of buffs will not fix it.Warrior/Lock/Priest/Druid/Sham/Rogue/DK/Pally cal all heal during combat, without sacrificing dmg too much.Mage must stop and cast bandage or Evocate, hunter must stop and bandage in deturance. These 2 classes deserve self heal, or more burst to compensate for a huge lack of survivability. Dispel a mage, and he's naked gettin summer sausaged thrown at him.

dony's comment got downvoted. No surprise. He is completely correct though. I don't read this site for pvp related stuff anyway, it's almost as worse as mmo-champion for that haha. Can someone PLEASE explain to me why classes should be balanced according to the opinion on gamebalance of 1500 rated keyboard turners? Let's have a little analogy. I'm having a math test, but I didn't study for it. I fail the test and then go to the math teacher asking him to 'nerf' the test. I would only get laughed at.
