Different people find different things useful or necessary. I need buff bars because I don't instantly recognize the icons. Nipah doesn't. We use the available tools to suit our individual needs and tastes.
I see these differences as interesting, not a matter for criticism. People haven't 'done it wrong' just because they've done it differently.
So why do people feel the need to be so critical? Helpful suggestions and finding genuine flaws are one thing. Chucking out a whole lot of complaints about things that have not been done in the way you would do them is negative and not particularly useful.
This is not particularly aimed at Nipah - just all the folks whose first instinct is to just complain about everything they don't like.
