Not listened yet but is it going to be a other lore fest. I keep coming back each week in the hope that there's going to be something other than lore discussed.
Now bring on the haters. Down grade Inc....

I've found they try to keep it relatively balanced. Although they do keep pvp and pve as one category. Its usually Lore/Gameplay/UI and Addons/ Weekly News. Mostly with a similar amount of time devoted to all categories. Unless its a lore question about warriors. Rossi could peobably talk for about 16 hours straight about warriors in lore....

I would totally listen to that, Chokaa. But then I read books on European prehistory for fun, so my idea of enjoyable may differ from yours! :P

I'm hoping they don't tone down the lore talk - in the relatively crowded WoW podcast market this show is head and shoulders above anything out there when it comes to lore discussions.
Having been a long time listener to the show it's been amazing to see the hosts gel and it become the fantastic podcast it is today.

Error in the podcast that was probably made since it was made before blizzard issued more information about the way the weekly heroic system will work. The weekly heroics for Tier 1 heroic and Tier 2 heroics are separate. Tier 1 being all heroic other than ZG and ZA and Tier 2 being ZG and ZA.
You could do say 5 Tier 2 and 4 Tier 1 and you'd have your 980 Valor points just as well as doing 7 Tier 2 to get 980. You won't get more that 980 even if you do 7 Tier 1 and 7 Tier 2 since they've put a soft cap of valor point obtainable with heroic dungeons.

I think it would help if the post included a list of the topics covered in each show. Individual listeners could then determine more selectively if they want to tune-in to a segment.
In the past, I have also dismissed a podcast based on a previous week's topic material being largely irrelevant to me, and it makes it difficult to get back into being a regular listener.

What do you think about setting the warrior smash ability to 90% to everything except humonoids, which would be 50%.
This would fix the pvp aspect, and would only marginally gimp the pve side of it.
With this, they could add a glyph that doesn't function in battlegrounds which would make it 90% on everything.

Amazing show, don't worry you fellas do a great job balancing news, discussion and lore. My favorite is by far the lore. Background and motives are great for your speculation for where all characters and warcraft in general are going.
Other podcast are horrible if they are straight news or lore, again the mixture of both and tinfoil hatting is what make you guys the best wow podcast out there

As bad as play mechanics have gotten I actually quit the game and am playing Rift but the wow insider podcast is done so well that I have been listening even after canceling my account.
