Pray for either good Khorium spawn RNG in the Outlands (seriously, Blizzard should add a transmute to alchemy already, every other rare ore has one!) or pray for some unsuspecting sap to post some on the auction house. Or, and this is the more likely avenue, expect to pay a couple hundred gold for each khorium bar you do find and grudgingly turn them into your awesome turbo-charged gyrocopter.

Alternately, go haunt Quel'Danas/Shadowmoon/Netherstorm. There's not a whole lot of competition for mining nodes anymore.

Is the Turbo-Charged mount BOP? I'm pretty sure I've seen the regular one on the AH, it might be possible to just buy it from an engineer that can make it for you.
