I HATE it when the 'locks in PUG's give DI to a non HOT healer. No amout of explanation will make them change their minds.

If you're not very geared, you might benefit from the haste. And it's still better than giving it to a DK :

It might not be the "right" choice, but it is still the warlock's decision in the end and badgering them about it will accomplish very little.

Sometimes the healers just need a little bit more help. Wether it be that they are a bit under geared or the group is taking lots of avoidable aoe damage. The extra healing is nice to have.

As a holy paly healer with a destro lock alt, I am sick of getting DI. It just seems so wasteful.

I declare my favorite people by my choice in giving DI. It just so happens one of them is a resto druid. :)

I must say I *love* casting DI on a Resto Druid for my own benefit. I am almost always fully stacked on procs since their HoTs crit so much.That being said, this is usually only an option in Heroics where there are only going to be 2 other DPS at most anyway, so your chances of getting a good DPS target drop significantly.
