My father and I are watching baseball again -- the season starts in a little over a week. I never really pictured myself as a baseball fan, but it's become one of those father-daughter things, and the game itself is kind of interesting. Especially when the outfielders fling themselves over fences to catch a ball with no apparent sense of self-preservation.

Still, when watching a spring training game wherein the batter swings repeatedly at balls that are nowhere near the vicinity of his bat, I wisely refrain from suggesting the batter gem for more hit. Some things, my father just can't get his brain around. Internet dragons and video games are definitely one of them.
