This is a tricksy one. Unlike Ozruk vs. Asaad, there's no clear ability here that would tip it one way or the other; both these guys' major abilities are tests of one's ability to avoid standing in the bad, and since we're assuming both of them are capable of at least as much intelligence as the average player, they should be able to move out of the way.Mind you, half the time the average player doesn't move out of Pistol Barrage; I seem to recall better odds on Tyrannus' nasty frost patches. The kick is that Godfrey is fairly squishy as bosses go, whereas Tyrannus deals a lot of damage up close in one's face; and unfortunately Godfrey has no real way to kite Tyrannus. His popcorn ghouls are actually a liability in that they may get Marked and heal Tyrannus, but I don't expect them to last very long against those frost patches.Ultimately, while I think Godfrey is cooler, I'm going to have to give this one to Tyrannus. His ability to stay up in Godfrey's face, and to heal himself through the Mark, ultimately outweighs the ridiculously huge damage of Godfrey's pistol barrage.

"Remember, Two Bosses Enter matchups are all about substance and style, not gameplay, mechanics, and numbers. Don't base your strategies on player tactics, which opponent has been easiest or most difficult for you personally, or the difficulty of each opponent relative to instance progression"

"Ultimately, while I think Godfrey is cooler, I'm going to have to give this one to Tyrannus. His ability to stay up in Godfrey's face, and to heal himself through the Mark, ultimately outweighs the ridiculously huge damage of Godfrey's pistol barrage."I don't see any of those things in his summation. It makes perfect sense to me. So why are you getting all smart-ass on him about it?

I seem to remember never actually being hit by Tyrannus due to how slow he moved. I think I've seen him kite tanked about 30 times or so, and with Godfrey having the Ghouls to stall and slow him further (lol, DAZED!) Godfrey has plenty of time to nuke his slowly moving butt.Everyone (even us Warriors) knows that Hunters can easily kite Warriors, especially ones that have no charge and provide their own frost traps. I doubt Tyrannus would even harm Godfrey.

But Tyrannus can't heal himself of his own accord. The branded target has to be healing something and Godfrey has no healing abilities so he wouldn't be healing himself. However with the mark on Godfrey his cursed bullets and pistol barrages would me mirrored onto himself on top of the already merciless onslaught of the dragon+dk combo... I think I agree with Tyrannus on this one...

"no way to kite Tyrannus" Actually, Tyrannus provides his own way to be kited. The frost bombs his drake drops slow his move speed. A common player tactic on Tyrannus was to kite him through the frostbombs when he frenzied to avoid the damage. If Godfrey is smart he kites through the frostbombs and uses cursed bullets when Tyrannus is slowed for massive damage. I give it to Godfrey

Im gonna have to say overlords brand would push it over. Assuming that godfrey is branded, that will just mean more dps for tyranus. Just imagine if that got put on just before pistol barrage.... terrible terrible damage!

Thanks, Tom - I forgot the frost patches actually slow him! In which case Godfrey will probably win. Plus I have to admit I'd prefer Godfrey won, all things being equal - having a Wrath boss in the Cata 2BE feels kinda off to me.
