I have a question. Where's WoW Insider's April Fools' joke?
Iirdan Apr 1st 2011 11:54AM
Maybe that is the joke... driving us nuts looking for the joke... THEY'RE GENIUSES
Alchemistmerlin Apr 1st 2011 11:09PM
The average WoWInsider reader is a humorless stain. Every time they do an april fool's joke the commenters FREAK OUT like a day without WoW news is going to kill them.
This year they're letting the stains win.
StClair Apr 2nd 2011 1:53AM
And you would be the exemplar of which you speak, sirrah?
Tslotha Apr 1st 2011 10:32AM
Makes me wonder what Wow insider has planned for us this year.. more lady Gaga insider? More Twilight Insider?...
Im scared to think of what they will dream up today.
Revynn Apr 1st 2011 12:33PM
Rebecca Black Insider.
After all, It's Friday.
Khirsah Apr 1st 2011 3:52PM
It's Friday? So that means that yesterday was Tuesday, tomorrow is Monday, and after that comes Friday again, right?
Lolz Apr 2nd 2011 1:28AM
Omg the frikkin crab made me listen to Rebecca Black song.
Nyvaryn Apr 1st 2011 10:36AM
I'm kind of sad that y'all aren't doing April Fools too.
Last year I had a lot of fun waiting to see what outlandish Insider would show up next.
(Ga Ga Insider was my favorite.)
I guess in a way, no jokes at all is in fact a joke. o.o
Omgsogoth is a great name for a dark dark dungeon boss. XD

Blizzard, when your April Fools instance is more appealing than anything offered in the next real major content patch, you're probably doing it wrong.
Eldoron Apr 1st 2011 10:40AM
4.1 is only a minor content patch, nvm. In Cataclysm it won't be like x.1, x.2, x.3 like in Wrath. It'll be like vanilla.

I thought for sure that the inter-server transfer of heirlooms was a prank...hmm guess not.
MattKrotzer Apr 1st 2011 10:38AM
Crabby is awesome. I love how he follows you around Blizzard's sites.
Hal Apr 1st 2011 10:47AM
Yeah, but I can't click on his links.
MattKrotzer Apr 1st 2011 10:52AM
Read the reply to the next comment. You'll be glad.
Sedna Apr 1st 2011 11:01AM
He is ridiculously awesome. How can I get a Crabby minipet?
SamLowry Apr 1st 2011 1:31PM
Okay, I understand that Crabby is supposed to be a joke, but...I think Crabby would actually be very beneficial. I would like a helper who would tell me where to quest to get a better weapon and whether the gear with haste or crit would be better for me. And yes, it would be nice to have someone who could slap the healer when they run off to the fridge during a fight.
Saz Apr 1st 2011 1:51PM
Crabby =
Dreyja Apr 1st 2011 2:42PM
"You're healer appears to be asleep at the wheel. Would you like me to poke him?"
Choices:
*Yeah, that'd be cool
or
*OH GOD IT BURNS!
Priceless!

I was looking through the javascript files for crabby, uncovering his delightful trove of dialouges. Some choice developer comments were, in the css for the crabby-shell id. " crabby shell, get it?! GET IT?!" and in the main js file "This isn't going to be annoying AT ALL" Does my looking through the code make me too big a nerd? Screw it, i'm going to let Crabby live on my personal local server for my own amusement, regardless of your judgements!
