The above, a soft-baked chocolate chip boule, is available at 85 Degrees in Irvine, California. If you've never had any of their delicious cakes or breads, book a flight, kiddo. You're in for a treat.
Fallemwarrior asked:
Is there any chance they will add the archeaology keystone turnins for raid content?
Max-level archaeologists will be able to use keystones to summon extra bosses in the new Zul'Gurub heroic coming in patch 4.1, but there's no indication yet that the keystones will be of benefit in upcoming raid instances. We'll be seeing a lot more information about Firelands and 4.2 coming soon, so it's just a matter of time.
Chucke3103 asked:
Does it seem that Dungeon Finder is not really random? I've run Grim Batol about 50 times now, with one run of Halls of Origination, no Stonecore, no Tides, and only 1 Lost City. What's happening here?
Both tanks and healers, the two roles with shorter queue times, have valuable gear that drops in Grim Batol. Since you can't have a group without a tank or a healer, the dungeon finder is obviously going to match you up with whatever those two are doing, which may often be "purposely queueing for Grim Batol."
There are other mechanics at work, of course, and Blizzard has said several times that the dungeon finder is hardly random.
Themightysven asked:
What's the best spec for Fishing?
Angling was nerfed pretty hard with 4.0.3, and the patch notes for 4.1 indicate that the devs still consider it unbalanced, so the outlook is pretty grim. I'd personally recommend Deep Sea; it's proven extremely viable in endgame content as well as PvP.
Drynn asked:
What is the best Priest Spec for alt-speccing to if you're leveling as Shadow to avoid having to maintain a different equipment set from the primary spec?
If you're shadow now and go holy, you'll very likely be bored. Discipline has good synergy with shadow and uses mostly the same stats, and it also works as a very competent DPS spec when soloing. Make sure to take the Smite-based talents!
Jason asked:
So when valor points are turned into justice points at 4.1 will they be changed 1:1 or will the VP be worth 2 or 3 JP?
Well, they're not changing until 4.2 (they'll change with every new raid tier), but we have no reason to believe that the conversion will be anything but 1:1.

Question:
Is it possible to change your name on wowinsider, without having to change the email address? Because as you can see, my name is kind of 'laim' and I want to change it...
Bapo Apr 2nd 2011 12:40PM
I'm not exactly sure, but you would probably have to go to the main joystiq site and do it there. Like I said though, I'm not sure.

I don't think you can. I decided the other day to make an actual account rather than doing the whole name-and-random-password deal (even though I just have the password saved in my browser so I don't have to do anything extra to comment). When I went to the main Joystiq site to create an account, I was already logged in as "Jeremy" and it wouldn't let me make a new account with my email address. There was also no way to change my display name even though I never actually made an account, just posted a comment here. It's sort of annoying -- I originally posted with my real name when I was replying to comments on a Breakfast Topic I wrote, but now I'd prefer to have a character name or something.
MattKrotzer Apr 2nd 2011 1:14PM
You can't, but if you use gmail, there IS a simple workaround.
If your gmail address is laim@gmail.com, you can register a new joystiq account with la.im@gmail.com instead. Gmail ignores the period, but the name is unique in joystiq's servers, so you can change it to whatever you like.
That's how I went from Josin to MattKrotzer.

Just sign up for a new account using (current email)+(random string)@(domain.com). As in, if you're currently signed up under joesmith@yahoo.com, create a new account here with the email joesmith+joystiq@yahoo.com.
Most email services handle plus addresses, the only one I know for sure off the top of my head is Gmail. Check your email provider before doing this.
This is also handy when signing up to sites that you suspect will sell your email address--it's easy to see who did it when there's a string appended to your email, and even easier to block.
Noyou Apr 2nd 2011 1:45PM
Or you can make an all new email address and use that as your new name :)
Kasamir Apr 2nd 2011 3:30PM
Is Crabby actually a real thing, or is Blizz messing with us?
Edge Apr 2nd 2011 5:23PM
If you want to keep all your info instead of making a new account, like Bapo said, log in at joystiq.com and you have options to change it there. It is the same user name and password to log in there.
Scunosi Apr 2nd 2011 5:26PM
You may not want to bother with the hassle at this point, as I've read when they finally implement their new comment system (yes they have actually told us a bit about that) all comments/users will be wiped and you'll just have to start over anyways.
Or so I've heard.
Chokaa Apr 2nd 2011 7:52PM
@Matt
You are josin!!! Hol crap I neva knew!! I wondered where you had ran off to, and the answer is nowhere! Yay! Lol.
laim Apr 2nd 2011 8:45PM
Thanks for the help people... But I'm the same, I had no clue Matt was actually Josin... Awesome =)

Is it just me or have the drop rates of volatiles while mining been nerfed constantly since Cataclysm went live? I remember getting volatile air left and right while mining and now I'm lucky to see 1-2 after mining a stack of elementium.
Noyou Apr 2nd 2011 1:48PM
Seems like it. But I think it's RNG. There are lots of times where I go 10-12 nodes without a single volatile. By way of comparison volatile life seems to jump out at me when herbing. I know they did something in uldum to the nodes because there used to be two areas where 4 nodes would pop up all around the same time- that no longer happens :(

Question: what in the world does the bag containing the bread say? Being from the South, my language limitations are restricted to English, Ghetto and Country.
Shade Apr 2nd 2011 12:51PM
健康と幸せの手作りパンをはん........
The lack of a complete sentence is making this difficult since there is no discernable verb. But the portion that is legible would read as "handmade bread of health and happiness"
If サッコさん(Mike) would be willing to take another picture with the entire packaging laid out flat in good lighting, I'll get back to you with the complete message :D
Tim Apr 2nd 2011 3:38PM
It says and I quote:
Me Chinese. Me play joke.
Sleutel Apr 2nd 2011 3:40PM
With a bit of Google-fu, it appears that the full thing says:
健康と幸せの手作りパンをはんばい
Which I would translate as,
Selling Handmade Bread of Health and Happiness
Sleutel Apr 2nd 2011 3:44PM
Here's what I'm finding confusing. Checking the 85 C website, it appears that they're located in the U.S., China, Taiwan, and Australia. Nothing in Japan.
oringal Apr 2nd 2011 10:40PM
85 degrees, best bakery in the world. YOU NEED TO TRY THEIR CHEESECAKES *mouthgasm* /drool
Aqulestei Apr 4th 2011 1:06PM
85 degrees... forget the pastries try the Sea Salt Iced Coffee. Trust me, it is the best tasting smoothest coffee you will ever have (coming from someone who is a coffee snob and hates salt :P). At my office we once forced our co-workers to drive an extra 30 mins to pick some up for all of us. I have to go there every time I'm down that way to play TCG.
