The Succubus is actually an amazing PvP pet for Destruction. The Soul Fire proc from the imp, at least in my experience, doesn't happen enough in PvP to make the pet of any use. The Felhunter, well, people expect that. The amount of control that the succubus offers destruction is simpily amazing in the right hands.
Generally I've considered the Felhunter the affliction PvP pet of choice and the Succubus destructions PvP pet of choice.

Totally agree with you! I think the article is great, it just badly misses the PVP approach.
"Warlocks have CC themselves through Fear, and while it's nice to have the ability to CC two targets at once -- we are better than mages, remember? -- this perk falls rather flat in game terms."
That is sooo not true in PVP. First of all, 2 cc is awesome in Arena. Second, I especially love to seduce warriors (not because I am in love with them but because they are kinda hard to be feared and hit like a truck). Also you can seduce a healer, and unless you are playing against double healer team, no one can dispel it. Okay a good paladin will fear away your demon, but the succubus can get there in stealth to seduce.
