As a Demo lock I have to totally disagree with this Idea of making all of the pets do the same damage, I AM NOT A HUNTER! I don't do the damage that an Aff or a Destro does in the same manner. I pulled 14.5k DPS (1/3 of which belonged to my FG) on Magmaw (10 reg.) this weekend with my FG and his utility is perfect for me. I PvP with him too (axe toss rocks) (again close to 1/3 of my damage comes from my FG). As Demo one must embrace the pet aspect far more than as just damage, and to state other wise you might as well be Destro (or to a lesser degree Aff).

Yes there are a few things I would like to have added to him (an actual interrupt would be good), but his purpose is as a minion NOT as just a pet (I have over 70 of those and though they look good they are pretty useless). If Destro HAD to use the pet to assist their damage as Demo does, it would be impossible for them to do their rotations as they are and the same really goes for Aff. However that is the choice that is made when going Demo. The synergy that is broken for Aff is the only thing I see as lacking in Lock pets at this time. The Succy should be the PvP pet for Destro and (if they choose) Demo, with out the synergy being broken.

NO WE ARE NOT HUNTERS, WE ARE BETTER! Our pets matter to our DPS, they are not just chosen because they look cool or have 1 cool ability! They are cool and each have several cool abilities. Remember that next time you kill a hunter >:-)
