I'll admit, I have an obsession with companion pets -- much to my warlock's chagrin. She'd much prefer to burn the little critters, but I can't help amassing as large a collection as I can. At last count, I had over 100 pets and am still striving to get even more. While I have several titles, special mounts, and the like, I devote more time to building my pet collection than anything else.
Of course, my collection wouldn't be where it is today without the help of some really good friends (especially the one who tirelessly slaved away killing Bogflare Needlers for my coveted Captured Firefly -- eeeek!).
Do you collect anything in WoW? Whether it be common things like mounts or titles, or something a little more obscure, I want to hear about it -- unless, of course, you have a better pet collection than I do. Don't make me cry.

I try to collect different drinks, particularly alcohol, teas and coffees. Cuergo's Gold with Worm, Tea with Sugar, stuff like that.
Also some interesting clothing and items with funny flavor text

I love to collect any trinkets, armor or anything that polymorphs my character into something else or summons npc's.

I've got 135 mounts (http://www.warcraftmounts.com/collection.php?id=25) and 134 pets (http://www.warcraftpets.com/account/profile.asp?user=kikiyodragon). I also collect lots of useless junk and have a bunch of pretty dresses. :)

can i not try to puke in the morning from seeing a dwarf screenshot the model is ugly please pick a human or worgen cause otherwise all allaince races suck

I was able to complete the Sodden Set last week. It looks so good on my gnome as she's fishing. It's really funny to see folk's reaction when I zone into a random with it all still equipped. :D

i collect stuff i am interested in that i come across in wow:
- every hunter i have tames a ghost saber (but not the other exotic pets)
- hydrocane from gnomer (underwater breathing if you can equip it)
- wirt's third leg (cos of diablo)
- piccolo from strat
- rivendare mount from strat
- old ironjaw from fishing pool in IF
- singing sunflower pet (but only one, cos i dont like plants vs zombies)

Something I love to do is just go to older dungeons at random and run them in the hopes of getting pieces of loot that look cool cosmetically. Part of the fun for me is not looking at loot tables but instead going in blind for the opportunity to be surprised by some of the cool stuff I end up finding. It really feels like a treasure hunt. My favorite find so far are the Venomshroud Silk Robes (http://www.wowhead.com/item=14445), which I consider to be one of the prettiest cloth designs I've ever seen, and it's not even an Epic or a Rare!
The only problem with this treasure hunting ended up being the fact my main is a cloth class, and I routinely looted things that looked really cool but that I was unable to equip. I've been considering leveling a Plate class for the sole purpose of being able to wear anything I find.
