The Daily Quest: Mastering the game

WoW Insider's on a Daily Quest to bring you interesting, informative and entertaining WoW-related links from around the blogosphere.
We interrupt our normal Daily Quest babble for the following important announcement: Have you seen our WoW Resource Guide? It's a list of all active World of Warcraft websites out there -- or at least the ones we know about. However, it's out of date, and it is my mission to update it. I have accepted this mission, but this is where I need your help!
Do you have a Warcraft blog? Do you know somebody who does? Post a comment on this post with your blog's name, a link to the blog, and a general description of what category your blog would fit under, whether it be for a specific class, PvE, PvP, lore, or some other WoW topic. If you have any friends with blogs, please feel free to point them to this post so they may add themselves to the list.
And now, back to your regularly scheduled edition of The Daily Quest:
Is there a story out there we ought to link or a blog we should be following? Just leave us a comment, and you may see it here tomorrow! Be sure to check out our WoW Resources Guide for more WoW-related sites.

- World of Matticus discusses ways to master the frustration of progression raiding.
- Feraltree talks about mastering mana management as a resto druid.
- Achtung Panzercow begins a series of posts on mastering the first 10 seconds of a pull.
- Lastly, if you're having trouble mastering Cho'gall, I Like Bubbles has a handy flowchart that could help.

I would like to add my blog to the list:
Jed's Corner of Wow Shenanigans
http://jedsguildinfo.blogspot.com/
It would fall under the general wow category as I talk about many different wow topics. Thanks. =D
Samrobb Apr 4th 2011 4:24PM
Azeroth on 20 Silver A Day - http://twentysilver.blogspot.com/
Achievement hounding, reputation grinding, solo dungeoneering, PvP-ing...ing, and just about anything else that happens to catch my fancy.
Melfina Apr 4th 2011 4:24PM
thewownoob.blogspot.com is mine. Defn a general blog, with the occasional UI, economy, or raiding priest stuff.
Rhii Apr 4th 2011 4:26PM
Hello from Rhii formerly of I Sheep Things, I am now blogging at Oh My, Kurenai! (www.ohmykurenai.com) General Wow, with undercurrents of healing and mages please. :)
Thanks for throwing this out there, I was not aware that you guys even had this resource site, what a fantastic list!

As a player who has recently returned to WoW after a stint right after Wrath's release, I'm always now trying to sift through what site and sources are at least Cata-current and which are old.
I'll see if I can round up some of my findings later and post them up. Actually, as an info research resource, WoW Insider suffers heavily from this. Which is only natural, of course, given that it IS a blog after all.
But as someone who's understanding of the game was briefly introduced in a BC trial month, developed during a small Wrath stint (highest lvl was 60), and now being refined in Cata - reading the 101 and basics posts can be a job figuring out what is relevant and what is not.

(Dingo ate my first comment?)
Blame Squelchy -- http://blamesquelchy.wordpress.com
Rogue stuff, mostly. Been trying to get on the list for a while but I think my emails were lost in the great wow.com -> wowinsider.com email address transition.
Thanks for your consideration!

Soltor Apr 4th 2011 5:01PM
I lost. sadface.
Samual Barshow Apr 4th 2011 5:05PM
Suggestion for updated list. Perhaps a mobile friendly sitelist addition? For droid and iphone users.
Anne Stickney Apr 4th 2011 5:07PM
I have...no idea how to construct such a thing, but I'll poke some people and see if it's a feasible idea, thank you!
errisandra Apr 4th 2011 5:07PM
I have two to throw into the mix:
The Inconspicuous Bear - http://theincbear.com
PvE Bear theorycraft blog with the occasional smattering of resto and cat theorycraft. Also more raid-centric than casual centric.
And
Team Wafflecast - http://teamwafflecast.com
An all druid Podcast. Covers PvE and PvP of all specs.

My blog, 15 Minutes of WoW (http://15minutesofwow.wordpress.com/) is a general WoW blog that has tackled topics ranging from patch note commentary to tanking/healing strategies to altaholism.
Now off to tell some blogger friends to get their rears over here.
Darren Apr 4th 2011 5:09PM
I can view the list of blogs/resources on my iphone 4 without any trouble. I can't comment about previous iphones or droids though.
FeralTree Apr 4th 2011 5:21PM
A big thank you for the link!
I'd love to add my site to the resource list as well - FeralTree, guides and info for Resto and Feral Druids as well as dungeon and raiding info and tips and other fun things around WoW and druids. (http://feraltree.blogspot.com).
Cheers :D
Xzilend Apr 4th 2011 5:34PM
I would like to add my blog to the list!
I am currently the main writer for http://www.felfire.com, a warlock-focused blog that features many useful and fun articles! Currently, I am in the middle of writing a huge series based on increasing raid performance, and as soon as my university course load lets up a bit, I will be finishing it :)
Here are some examples of the quality of articles that can be found at felfire.com:
Keybindings guide: http://felfire.com/other/xzilends-keybindings-guide/
6 Steps to Better Raid Performance (Part 2.5): http://felfire.com/guide/6-steps-to-better-raid-performance-part-one-case-study/
Binkenstein Apr 4th 2011 7:20PM
www.totemspot.com
A shaman community forum, wiki and guide collection.
roark.notaninja Apr 4th 2011 5:47PM
I'd love to be added to the list!
http://Adrenaline-Rushing.com, is a place for rogues, mostly combat specced ones, to maximize their PvE game. I'm on the second post of a series "Theory of UI," and my conditional macros post was picked up by TDQ last week.
Wowcrack Apr 4th 2011 6:01PM
That was a fun read! For a WoW related blog, here's a satire on most things WoW at:
http:www.worldofwowcrack.com
If you take your WoW very seriously, you probably won't like the site.
bronson.nicol Apr 4th 2011 6:03PM
Sorry, forgot to hyperlink the blog. Please delete the post if it gets spammy. Wowcrack
Thanks for making this available. Joystiq has been linked for quite some time there :)
Auracen Apr 4th 2011 6:07PM
