As the story of this movie goes, Gigi and Letomi wake up in the jungle, having clearly been Jujufied. They spent a short amount of time lamenting their lost races before inevitably breaking into song. (And really, wouldn't we all break into song given those circumstances?)
Whether or not you dig this style of music, Jujufied is an incredibly well-created movie. The sound is seamless and the video itself feels professional and flawless. The overall effect is a very pleasant, soothing video that I think does a good job of entertaining its audience. I have to admit, I'm still not into trolls, though. That was wicked. I know there will be a ton of comments complaining that it's Gigi and bloodelves again, but really, that was really well done. Vocals were great and visuals were fantastic.
It wasn't bad but it wasn't troll enough it needed more drums and maybe some rattle and that weird instrument that's like a wooden washboard that u drag a stick across whats that thing called again?
I agree that it was very well done and very fun to watch. I did have to shut it off before the end. I felt it got a little repetitive with the "LA LA LA LA LA..." towards the end for me. And yes its nice to see a machinama that's not spreading hate/pwnage towards another race an embracing what it means to be said race instead of bringing one down. I find trolls "culture" (accent and dialog more than lore) to be very entertaining as an alliance player. I would probably never roll a troll male as I couldn't deal with their perma haunch or Tae-Bo dance style. A shame considering the beach near their starter area is so soothing (they changed the water color there for those who have not been by).
It's not so bad, because she's doing the Troll accent. And it's not rap. And it's not "I PVP, I pwn, I PVP, I kick your ass. I lead BG's. I rock you in BG's. I can't be killed. I PVP, I lead BG's. I pwn you because I'm so awesome."
That woman still has a voice that drags down anything she's involved in.
Which is a pity because she tends to be in stuff that has some nice production values. Not sure if she actually makes them or just hooks up with the right people but either way it's a bummer. :(
It is worth note, however, that outside the chorus and the opening, Gigi had no lines. And "Lalalalala" "Taz'dingo, mon!" " Yea-ah, mon" and the occasional giggle aren't much to go on.
On to the song itself:
Lyrics: B (The chorus was fairly repetative and that 1:30 of it at the end was not a particularly great choice, but beside that, the rest was good and funny) Flow: A (Very smooth flow with a few exceptions) Voice: A+/ na (Letomi's singing was fantastic, didn't hear enough of Gigi to really judge, but if I had to, I guess I'd give her a C+ or B-) Fun factor: A+ ( Very fun, Jamaicany feel to the song) Over all rating: A
It wasn't bad. I watched the whole thing waiting for a second verse. I had the urge to stick a fork in my ear if I heard la la la la la freakin la la one more time.
I love me some trolls, mon. They're the only reason I rolled Horde at all.
The video here was a lot better than the song. I was left wanting more...which, some say, is a good thing in show biz. Or maybe that was just strip-tease. {shrug}
This is one of those songs where I'll be saying: "well, I enjoyed it, but I won't be listening to it again". They couldn't have chosen a better concept to try and do a song with (you can't ever do something terrible with Trolls in it, it's a law of the universe). However the song itself felt lacking--not much replay value to be had here. It's not something I feel like I would want to sing along with, and for that I don't think I'll be looking at it again, which, again, is sad because I would love to jam to a troll-based song.
I loved the one verse with the troll accent, and the general lack of noise and presence from Gigi. The rapping felt misplaced and the chorus was... uninspired (la la la...?).
Over all, I thought it was cute, and I believe that's all it was ment to be. It's just a fun song, made by true fans, who have an adoration for WoW. And trolls. I don't know why haters be haten.

This suddenly becomes infinitely more bearable when Gigi isn't a blood elf. I think there's a phenomenon going on here.
Not to mention, Trolls may or may not be my favorite race.
>_>

I hit play, saw "Gigi", and immediately had the urge to close it.

A bit hit and miss.

Being Jamaican, I couldn't get over how damn BAD their fake accents were. I mean, "everything be eye-re"? REALLY?
Ugh. What can I expect from Gigi though. Par for the course, really.
