Wow, 9 alchemists. That does mean 9 other profession slots with 8 professions available. So I probably would start pairing them up with other stuff. Maybe professions that can use truegold. At the very least I would make a few into professions that I can use for myself instead of cutting into profits to keep my toons geared (like one scribe and one enchanter somewhere in the mix).

Lately, I've seen people dropping professions and selling off their mats at ridiculous low prices. I have no problems with snatching them up and storing them for later use. Buying mats from the AH every single day is a bad idea because of this. If I do happen to run out before the next big sale, I'd rather go without for one day or go farming for just enough to get by. Still this is rare if I keep reasonable expectations and check regularly. The Snatch module of Auctioneer is awesome for this and so is the addon MarketWatcher.
