I'm pretty sure they're not going to let conquest points be traded to valor so people won't say they have to PvP to stay competitive in PvE. I very much agree with that, since as far as I can tell, PvPers don't have to rush to get the most amazing gear possible ASAP seeing as the season runs for the whole raid tier (right?) and there's no achievement for "World First 2400 2v2 Arena Team" or some such... But then I've never really been on the bleeding edge of PvP, heck I've never even been above 1500 arena rating (looking to fix that this season though). And besides, after you get all your valor gear, there's not much you can do after that... Though, the same can be said for conquest.

Pretty obviously, in PVP, you are in direct competition with other players. If the other players are now able to get more survivability through PVP gear by doing 7 hours of heroics every sunday, you now have to do the same to be on a level playing field.Sure, PVP skill will help, but when two evenly skilled teams go head to head, the team with better gear (i.e. the one that went over their conquest cap every week by running eyebleeding heroics) will win.On the other hand, if you can't get more than your weekly conquest cap through this system, I see no problem.
