WoW Moviewatch: The Truth About Murlocs

Truth About Murlocs is a parody of Rainbow Connection as performed by Kermit the Frog. The lyrics are clever and fun. The animation is simple and made up of in-game graphics, but they're perfectly suited to the song. The overall composition is fantastic, providing a few minutes of fun, Muppet-flavored nostalgia and WoW hijinks.
The only down side of the video is that the vocals are too quiet compared to the actual music track. That makes the lyrics tough to make out in places, and it definitely undervalues the spot-on Kermit impression.

Must be my annoyingly bad hearing, but I could barely make out a word of that. A damn shame, really. I loved the video, but all I could hear was incomrehensible babbling.

that was my complaint too. the vocals and instrumentals needed to be mixed better so that you could hear what was being said.

From the lyrics I could make out (most of them, albeit I had to strain a little bit), the song is absolutely adorable in that sort of morbid way. And I like the Kermit the Frog voice. Very accurate.

that was brilliant! The lyrics are hard to grasp at first, I had to really pay attention, but I started getting it around the orc part. This is one of the best videos I've seen in a while. It's very light-hearted, exactly as a murloc likes (they need to watch their figures).

Punch the vocals up in the mix and this would be perfect. "We find you, we kill you, we eat!"

I loooooove DarkPippi!
And he has well earned this feature. His work is always of good or better quality, and he's a really nice guy. This is one of my favorite works of his- he got the Kermit/Murloc voice perfectly.

O.M.G. This totally made my day! This now going to get a place-of-honour in my top-five machinima songs! I mean, sure, I'm a total sucker for all things MUPPETS but this is stand-alone-golden!
Clever lyrics + quirky perspective + GREAT PERFORMACE = PURE WIN!
I'm going to hope against ALL HOPE that this artist will take on the Sand Pygmies next! Tell me that would not be AMAZING. ;)
And this is why we all love Murlocs as much as we hate them. Yes, they've killed us many times but there is no malice, no favouritism... You're just there, you're edible, it's all good. :D

Great idea, I can see the potential... but I can't hear it. Unfortunately the volume combined with the way of speaking/singing I could barely understand half of the lyrics, if that. Shame.
