It's been nearly a year and a half since we've seen a new Nobody Like You. It's been a long, sad time. But now, Ninth Batter has released Nobody Like You Special: Machinima. This is actually a really important video for everyone who is considering getting started with the wild world of machinima.
This video is essentially an open letter to new machinima makers. Nobody has some great tips for new machinimators and some really good advice. Getting started with machinima can be intimidating. Creating WoW videos is a lot of work, and at the end, it just seems like commenters hate your work.
Take this stuff to heart and give machinima a try. For every person who flames your work, a dozen will embrace you into the community. Give it a shot; we'll leave the light on for you.

How ironic, because I was sitting on the bus going to the fiery depths of the hell that is my job wondering whether I should attempt to get in to machinima. I'm constantly listening to songs on my iPod and end up with a little video playing in my mind's eye of something that would fit to whichever song is gracing my ears at the time. I just need to find some good tutorials and the like.
I am very happy for this video right now.

His Australian accent is pretty bad, and half of it is trying to use the lingo with the accent. That was my only beef with the video though, good for those just starting up.

Australian? I was just trying to sound like a brown orc. :P
But seriously, looking back my Queensland was too thick and I used too much lingo. Would have worked in a mockumentary but just as an accent it failed.
