Breakfast Topic: What haven't you gotten around to doing yet?

One thing Cataclysm has certainly not been is lacking for new content to explore. Whether it's a partial to complete revamping of most of the original "old world" zones, the new dungeon and raid content, the new races, or the new archaeology profession and tweaking of the existing professions, there's been a lot out there to do.
If you're like me, you probably had some kind of list, whether written or just in your head, of things you were going to do once Cataclysm launched. So now that a fair amount of time has passed since the world shattered, how's that list coming along? Are you pretty much where you expected to be right now, or are there still things on your list that have you saying, "I can't believe I haven't done that yet!"
I'm not talking so much here about content that you simply have yet to progress to, perhaps because your guild hasn't yet gotten back into the raiding routine or you haven't run enough heroics to gear up yet. I'm talking more about things you could do in WoW right now, today -- but somehow, just haven't.
For me, that's still a distressingly full list. My worgen alt languishes at level 14, almost none of the new Alliance low-level content experienced beyond Gilneas. On my mains, I've yet to experience either the Twin Peaks or Battle for Gilneas battlegrounds. I've completed four of the five 80-85 zones but have yet to go back and do Hyjal.
So help me, I haven't even yet punched that dragon in the face.
What about you? What's out there in Cataclysm for you to do, if only you would just get around to doing it?

I still havent tried out a Goblin yet. Its odd considering Ive played through the Worgen area 3 times now. Ill get to it one of these days.

@Narshe,
Frankly the goblins start zone is fun, but I found the worgen start story to be more intense. I mean both loose their homes, both are fighting for survival against enemies, but all the silly quest text(some morbidly so) and color palette of the goblin start areas may make you believe that the worgen start zone, though shorter, is superior.
That said, the goblin start zone is pure awesomeness. Where else do u get a chance to repeatedly blow up stuff in new and interesting ways?
.
On topic, what have I not done yet? Completed Vashjir, I don't know how, but 10 minutes in that zone gives me a massive headache.

The goblin zone is like starring in a 3 stooges short. And You get to be MOE!
Nathanyel Apr 11th 2011 8:06AM
That's a loaded question. Oh, you mean in WoW? Planned to do the re-done old world for the zone achievements, but haven't even done half of Kalimdor yet.

I still have not finished the goblin starting zone - stuck somewhere in that glamorous party.
And although I am a true horde in hearth, I wanted to check out the worgen zone - which I gave up somewhere where you, the ugly wolfmen go into a building to resque a little girl, who asks you: are you one of the good worgen?
As excited as I was in BC to start all kind of blood elves and draenei, I cant even bring myself to finish the new race's starter zone.
I just started enjoying the rewamped leveling experience last week, and its really amazing, so I guess I will just try to convince myself that riding around in a car picking up party dress and sunglasses is actually playing WoW :)

Don't feel bad. Once upon a time I had a worgen guild (worgens of london) set up. Actually managed to run the worgen starter zone with a couple guildies from our main guild (which is a lot less than the 10-20 I planned on). Shortly after I got real disinterested in my worgen
(mostly cosmetic reasons) and people were not on in that guild even less than in the main one. I did end up running the goblin starter zone. First time I managed to get to lvl 3 and totally couldn't get into it. Went back and managed to get through it. It's not that it's bad but there's just a lot of wacky quests. I do like my goblins and can't wait to PvP with them (hunter and lock). Which can't really be said for my Worgen. Funny I loved the Worgen starter zone and didn't like the Goblin one. But I like the Goblin a lot better as a playable race. Maybe that will change.

I played a worgen toon up to the point where they finally ship out. The story (in some ways) gets worse; without spoiling it, any Alliance player with an ounce of RP and several ounces of PVP in their heart is going to be burning to slaughter Forsaken by the thousands after playing thru the Worgen zone. (and yeah, I've been told to play an undead to get the full story, but gods above, I tried and couldn't get past level 5 -- I was that disgusted with the undead race and what the starting quests had me doing).
The goblin zone was pure fun, though, even though I'm ready to go murder-ize Thrall for allowing a worm like Gallywig to remain.

PvP for me. I have not even built the crafted blues for it yet. I have spent the majority of my time leveling professions, leveling in general and then gearing my main. Next came the alts with professions valuable to my main. Up to 4 max level toons with an 83 with maxxed profs and an 82 I am using to farm gold from lvl'ing quests. I still also want to go back and get loremaster. I was a bit disheartened that I did not finish pre shattering and came to within 100 quests of it. It's strange to have "the Seeker" and not loremaster.

I still haven't got around to try either of the new BGs that came with cata... i tried when the expansion came out but i kept getting WSG and AB.
Although I am extremely happy that i got my goblin shaman to 85. I've given up on trying to level my DK to 85... it will forever be stuck at 81.
I still haven't got a piece of T11 on my mage which saddens me, but that's mostly because my guild doesn't raid anymore.

Tol Barad.
kjmd1988 Apr 11th 2011 8:13AM
Wow, you prefer Vashj'ir instead of Mt. Hyjal? I have yet to do a rated battleground and I have yet to make that goblin rogue I said I was going to make.

Quick question - can you post the seed article links to 'claim' to submit various wow insider guest posts?
Jamie Apr 11th 2011 8:16AM
Playing WoW... As odd as it sounds. I've not played since January really.
A lot of real life stuff between now and September means I shall probably never return. I've had some great times. On my idle lunch breaks from time to time, I check into WoW insider because the writing style is always enjoyable (although again I've not been to the site since february...).
SamLowry Apr 11th 2011 12:39PM
Agreed. I, too, was going to say "Playing".
Everyone in my friends-n-family guild shut down their subscriptions because the game just isn't fun anymore. Thanks for requiring us to join a megaguild if we want to accomplish anything, Blizzard--you cured of us WoW addiction better than methadone ever could.
gamerunknown Apr 11th 2011 2:34PM
Methadone doesn't make you want to continue posting on 420chan as far as I'm aware
nieboh Apr 11th 2011 9:16PM
@SamLowry
I really don't understand this attitude that the changes to the guild system makes the game unplayable for anyone in a small guild. They aren't taking anything away from you, you're just not getting the rewards for advancing your guild.
Your (and lots of others) complaint just seems hollow to me. Like, if I said, "I really can't stand being in Deepholm. The place creeps me out. So now they're taking away my shoulder enchants!"
Nina Katarina Apr 11th 2011 8:16AM
Yeah, the only pvp I've done is the occasional Tol Barad and one Alterac; haven't even looked at the other battlefields since November.
This past weekend I took a neglected rogue alt and leveled her from 75-81. The power differential at 79 when you can put on Cataclysm greens is incredible. I was waltzing around oneshotting jormungar, it was fantastic.
Wolfshanze Apr 11th 2011 9:57AM
You can actually go head-to-toe Cataclysm Green at lvl-77 (weapon too), assuming you stalk the AH and/or have a main collect some Cat BoE's while he lvls. Though I still recomend you forsake Cat shoulders and chest if you have heirloom gear till lvl-80 because of the XP gain.
Kurtis Apr 11th 2011 8:21AM
I'm driving my guild for the "Stay Classy" achievement. We're down to 1 or 2 classes in each of 4 different races. So help me, we *will* have that 8th bank tab!
