We've had the same hassles with our guild: Rift. We held a meeting in March after realising that due to a major gear/communication disparity between players, we would remain a 0/12 guild until several players pulled their fingers out and started putting in some work on their characters. It was decided by the entire guild that we would suspend raiding for a month, giving those who needed to gear up a chance to do so. We would re-convene in April and smash it. Then Rift came. It's almost mid-April now. Several guildies have suspended or cancelled their accounts In favour of Rift and most of those who remain in WoW have left for greener pastures. I've been lumped with the job of letting players know that the guild is, for all intents and purposes, dead - and to point them in the direction of a fairly successful raiding guild which has offered to take them on. There is a light at the end of the tunnel - hopefully. I am currently negotiating with the GL to hand the keys to STBW (Soon To Be Wife) to keep the guild ticking over instead of disbanding, before I myself take my leave. It's a pity really.Anyone looking for an awful retadin with an awful, AWFUL shaman healer alt?
