What is weird is reading articles about them telling stories of the amount of bad-mouthing that goes on in them. Because, whilst I don't doubt that those stories are true, I have been in a lot of randoms, and I can't remember the last time any bad mouthing went on. Even on clear mistakes people were generally polite in mentioning them.
I was in a run an hour ago, Grim batol even, and there was a wipe on the penultimate boss because a fire add exploded in the middle. There was just a jokey comment: 'Thats why you kite the adds :)' and we went back and did it. Some tanky shoulders dropped and the amount of politeness between a DPS (offspec) and the tank (sidegrade) was hillarious.
