totally legal, it sends 1 packet a a time instead of 2 and it does help! Download and install but not in your WoW folder. it is a program that runs on it's own.

The TCPAckFrequency fix is over praised. It really only makes a difference if you have low latency to begin with, in which case you don't really need it in a game like WoW. Additionally with the new networking system which sends more frequent packets the TCPAckFrequency fix will be even more redundant.
Also it is easy to modify the registry entry yourself without needing to download a third party patch.
