Yes well ofc i put my targets ahead of my ego and concentrate on the fight (and surviving it) rather than the meters. However, when you go over the meters at the end (and a lot of people do) it is disheartening to see that for all ur efforts you aren't as high up the charts as you would like. Now this isn't same for all fights, in chimaeron, shamans can shine with earthliving procs on low health targets, but for the most part I do feel somewhat lacking compared to other classes. And while charts shouldn't matter, most officers/ raidleaders base ur effectiveness in a raid by how much u can heal (you can call this bad practice but it is true for most guilds). If you can't heal as well as another class, then why bring you? (other than for mana tide seeing as mages hav TW and other totems can come from dps shams). If you say for raid heals, well a holy priest and resto druid can do just as good a job. Maybe I'm just feeling a little sore, as after the wonderful buff we received, the class is slowly being picked at and shrinking again little bit at a time. Maybe its in preparation for the (fingers crossed) OP spirit link totem.

Every class can do better than every other class in all respects depending on the players playing (yes I am implying that my hunters can outheal all classes because they are just that awesome.) It really just depends on your play style.
