Perhaps I am in the extreme minority here, but I would like to point out that I (like some tanks out there) have experienced the following:
1) I tank a few heroics every day. I like them, even though I'm geared out. NOTE: I may be full up on gear (main and off-spec), but I still use the Justic points for Heirlooms.
2) I don't find the heroics difficult.
3) I haven't had much trouble with crappy groups or obnoxious players. I usually just tell the offending player how I feel about their behavior, and it gets corrected or I (very rarely) drop group.
I just thought it would be good to point this out, as I feel that while most commenters are willing to discuss what they feel is broken or could be improved, I don't think enough people speak up and say that they are doing fine. I'm not saying that this means that the situation is broken or working; I'm just saying that I've experienced one thing, while so many other people have expressed a different experience.
As for my feelings on the CTA, I love it! This is likely because of the prospect of getting more stuff, but I will say that I feel that the rewards Blizzard chose for this feature are good choices. Money, flasks, etc. are always useful, and pets and mounts are the sort of thing that many players will want, regardless of their ilvl. Epics may become stale if offered through the CTA - they wouldn't provide incentive to geared players.
In short - there's a whole lot of QQing going on (less on these boards than the officials), and not all of it is entirely necessary.
