Achievements that don't give out a 'tangible' reward, if you will, are for the most part annoying.
Why not have an achievement for completing a perfect raid kill with less than 100k damage done across all the characters while you use only one hand for BOTH mouse and keyboard actions while standing at your computer, hopping on one foot, and upon completion of the raid, doing a quintuple back-flip and *you have to stick the landing* all the while balancing your computer tower (or laptop) on a single chopstick held between your pinky finger and your thumb, and reciting the first 20 pages of 'War and Peace' from memory within 4 minutes.
Anything can be an achievement, so unless there are in-game rewards linked to them, it does nothing but prove that you just happened to take on a series of mind-numbing tasks for no reason but to look at a meaningless number when you press the 'y' key.
